Rice Supply (700 kg) for One Month for the IIT and Saddhatissarama Monasteries

Due to the fuel crisis in Sri Lanka, prices continue to rise, making it especially important right now to provide the monasteries with rice—the foundation of the monks' daily diet.

We have the opportunity to make a rice offering to two monasteries:

• International Institute of Theravada (IIT): 500 kg — about 80 monks live and study at the monastery.
• Saddhatissaramaya Monastery: 200 kg — about 40 monks live and study at the monastery.

Total:

• Total quantity: 700 kg
• Price per 1 kg: 350 LKR
• Total cost: 700 × 350 = 245,000 LKR
